This is our first venture into the wonderful world of Etsy, and we’re kicking things off with a variety of greetings cards for all occasions. The Saturday’s Child studio is based in Harpenden, Herts. This is where the creative stuff happens. We are inspired by the little people in our lives, and the adventures of our miniature dachshund Hector Hound, and toddler Elodie Grace, both of which keep us constantly entertained and inspired 🙂
During lockdown, we found so much comfort and joy from both sending and receiving cards from loved ones we couldn’t catch up with in person. Lots of friends and relatives loved the cards so much that we decided to turn our ideas into a new family business. So here we are, ready and able to help you reach out to your nearest and dearest. Perhaps there’s someone you have lost touch with along the way of life that you would like to reach out? Whatever the occasion or reason, we’re here to help!
We pride ourselves on our original designs. Our production process varies from design to design. Our Hectic Hound cards are computer generated, printed, we then add splashes of colour by hand with water inks. Our days of the week cards are each screen printed individually by hand using acrylic inks. Our card stocks and envelopes are recycled quality where possible.
We have big plans for our shop, so watch this space for all manner of new products coming your way, including kids accessories, baby grows and kids T’s, and that’s just for starters!
In addition, our goal is to offer a wide variety of like-minded brands and products under the umbrella of Saturday’s Child Curates. We believe strongly in the power of the collective, and we hope to bring you a fantastic offer of unique and considered products within the space of a like-minded community.
